Best friends Weekend and Zay couldn't be more different. Zay loves school and is always excited to learn, while Weekend would much rather spend his time playing video games. When Zay convinces Weekend to attend a Lego Math & Writing Camp on a Saturday, Weekend expects the worst. But as the day unfolds, he discovers that learning, teamwork, and trying something new can be more fun than he ever imagined.
During this Literacy Journey, students will read alongside a small group of peers while participating in engaging, educator-led discussions that strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, communication, and critical thinking. Through Weekend and Zay's friendship, students will explore how a positive attitude, perseverance, and an openness to new experiences can transform the way we learn.
